Megan
With over a decade of experience behind the chair, I find my love and passion for the industry is only continuously growing. I specialize in lived in bonding and extensions. I take pride in transforming women's looks with my skills honed over many years. Since being in the industry I have had the opportunity to travel the country for various technique classes, while also creating my own educational videos. My passion for business has led me to be the owner of the two salon locations here in Sycamore; MC Beauty and The Studio.
Confession: When I am not in the salon you can often find me late at night in my kitchen attempting to bake something new. My love for baking definitely outweighs my talent for it, taste testing my sweet treats is always "at your own risk."

Hi, I’m Morgan! I’m the Assistant Manager and Marketing Coordinator at M.C. Beauty, and I truly love what I do. Being part of such a strong, inspiring team of women is one of the best parts of my role, and I’m passionate about supporting them in every way possible!

Behind the scenes, I handle our social media, website design, promotions, and overall branding . (Basically, anything that helps tell our story and showcase our incredible artists.) I love bringing our team’s talent to life and helping create a space where both clients and staff feel connected and inspired!

Hi, I'm Mollie. I fell into hair school when I was 20 because my mom told me I needed to be well rounded and doing makeup wasn't enough. I ended up loving the entire beauty industry and can't imagine my life otherwise!

Making people feel authentic to themselves in whatever hairstyle they dig really inspires me; I myself have been really into mullets and shags lately. When I'm not doing hair you can usually find me watching cartoons with my dogs, playing video games, or singing along with my favorite musicals.

Hi friends. I’m a Master IBE® Extension artist specializing in natural, lived-in brunettes and blondes. I’m passionate about creating effortless, dimensional hair that grows beautifully between appointments, always ensuring the health of your hair.
When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me reading, listening to music, spending time with my dogs, or watching reality tv.

Hello! My name is Mattea Elliot & I'm proud to be a hairstylist here at MC Beauty. Although I'm passionate about all things hair, I find myself most in my element when I'm giving someone that lived in blonde they've been dying for. I take pride in the fact that I'm always passionate & hungry to grow. I'm very excited to see where my career will take me, & all the amazing people I will meet along the way.
When I'm not at the salon, you'll probably find me with my nose in a book, in the kitchen, spending time with loved ones, or working on achieving my green thumb (I'll have it someday).

Hello! My name is Maria and I am a stylist here at M.C. Beauty. Ever since I was little, I wanted to have a job that had creativity but didn’t know what to look for. I stumbled upon the cosmetology program during high school and love what I chose!
Definitely was the best decision I made. I love to connect with clients and make people feel beauty from the inside and out. I’m so excited to see we’re my journey takes me!

Hello! My name is McKayla Montani & I am a stylist here at MC beauty!!
I grew up in the competitive dance world and I think that’s where my love for everything beauty started to flourish. I think the beauty industry stands for so much more than just outside beauty but inside beauty too! I grew up with parents who always told me you’re only as pretty as you treat people and that’s something that’s always stuck with me. I am beyond thankful to have found not only my passion but found a group of girls in a community who I can share that passion with!!
When I’m not at the salon I’m typically spending time with friends or family or I’m cozied up in bed with a romance or mystery book!!(:

Hi, My name is Jackie! I started doing hair when I was a lot younger and would experiment on all my willing friends hair, so naturally it evolved into doing hair for a profession!
I tend to consider myself a creative person and have passion for anything involving art. I always strive to be learning new things and trying out new ways of doing things to expand my personal limits!

​Hello! My name is Madi Peters, and I am a licensed Esthetician here at M.C. Beauty!
I’ve been in love with makeup and skin care ever since I was a little girl. However being an Esthetician wasn’t always what I wanted with my life. After high school I went into nursing school and later on decided that wasn’t what I wanted to do. I did a lot of research about being coming an Esthetician and immediately knew this is what I wanted. I then graduated Esthetician school March of 2023 and I’m loving every second. I have always admired the beauty industry and the amazing opportunities that come along with it!
I am so excited to jump start my career here at M.C. Beauty and help clients through their skin care journey! Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin:)

Hi! My name is Gianna & I am a level 1 stylist here at MC Beauty. I am 28 years old and a mom/bonus mom to three littles who are my whole world! I came from a family of hairstylists which is really what sparked my interest in this industry & I aspire to make an impact on people's lives just as they have. I care so much about making people feel happy, comfortable and confident in themselves. I truly think those three things are so important and once achieved, everything else in life falls into place.
I would absolutely love the chance to get to know you and help you with your hair wants & needs!
Outside of the salon you can find me shopping at all the local clothing/home decor stores or at home wrapped up in blankets binge watching Gilmore Girls with my dogs!

Hello! My name is Nicole, at 34, I made a bold decision to rediscover myself after 13 fulfilling years as a stay-at-home mom to my son and twin daughters.
Embracing change, I took a leap of faith and found my true passion in the world of esthetics and skincare. I’m excited to bring my dedication, nurturing spirit, and newfound expertise to the world of beauty. With a deep appreciation for the power of self-care and glowing skin, I am committed to helping others feel confident and pampered. I believe in the importance of both inner and outer wellness and strive to make every client feel seen, heard, and cared for.
When I’m not in the Spa you can find me most likely in my car driving around my kids from one activity to the next or just at home having a movie night with all the snacks!

Hi, I’m Alyson, and I am a stylist here at M.C. beauty! I have been in the industry for a little over 4 years. I have always loved being able to express my creativity, and doing hair allows me to be able to express that creative freedom. I love doing vivids, lived in blonding, and love to do fun hair cuts.
When I’m not in the salon you can find me making a mess in the kitchen, playing with my dogs, in the gym, or curled up reading a good book.

My life has been nothing short of interesting. I have experienced it all. Loss, pain, beauty, miracles. I have really had to work at finding myself and my purpose. I always knew I wanted to work with people, I just didn't know what way. I have always enjoyed creating. I love painting, ceramics, and design. I also have a deep love for nature and an appreciation for life and all it's connection.
Being young I needed to jump into a direction that would allow me to be free in some of these areas of interest and I landed in cosmetology school. I was the happiest I had ever been. I got to work with all walks of life, be creative, and pull inspiration from the things I love.
I became a mom after only a few years in the industry and then quickly became a wife and mom of three. I have spent the last 9 years learning, growing, changing, adapting, and discovering more about myself and this life. I have been pulled in all directions but one path remains clear for me and that is doing hair.

Hi, I’m Madelynne and I’m a hairstylist here at MC Beauty Salon!
I am a creative individual with a passion for people and hair! I strive for each person who leaves my chair to feel understood, confident, and empowered. I provide customized color services, haircuts and special occasion styling (including bridal).
I like to joke that my love for hairstyling started when I was 4 years old after chopping all my cousin’s hair off with craft scissors! It then developed into styling all my friends’ hair for high school dances, attending beauty school, becoming licensed… and here I am!
Some fun facts about me: I am a dog mom to my Bernese mountain dog, Indie, she is my baby. I have a huge heart for animals. I am very musical and used to teach classical piano lessons. I also love psychological thriller movies and am obsessed with root beer!
